Golf Specifics Training
Golf Specifics Pilates is a method of exercise designed as sport conditioning to align the body, build strength, and increase energy. Golf, being an "asymmetrical" sport, creates imbalances in the body which Pilates can counter act. An improved game requires good balance, flexibility, core stability, and mental focus. These important components are promoted in the Golf Specifics Pilates training. Since golf is a balance of mental and physical skill, the mind/body approach of Pilates is a good way to get in the practice of connecting the two. Connecting the body and mind will help increase muscle and movement control. A focus on developing local and global stabilizers to maintain joint stability and safety while playing, is complemented by increasing your body’s range of motion.
