Physio & Pilates

Customized Physiotherapy/Pilates Introductory Program

This package includes two physiotherapy appointments and two Pilates appointments.

The Rationale:

We have been team-working during the past year and have observed that a multidisciplinary approach to the client offers better results.

Two Streams:

  1. Injuries and Special Populations: This is a safe and effective way to begin a Pilates program if you are injured or have a specific condition. After the physiotherapist makes the diagnosis he or she refers the client to a specialized ISP Pilates trainer with recommendations as to the most effective exercises to condition the person back to health.
  2. Sports Specific Training: The physiotherapist evaluates the client to determine precisely what he or she should work on to balance the body and offer more stabilization, flexibility, and strength for the specific sport. It offers a strong rehabilitation component for muscles that have been over-compensated unconsciously during sports such as golfing, skiing, running and hockey.

Pilates and Physio Integration Privates

1 hour with 2 professionals!

These sessions offer a comprehensive dynamic between physiotherapy and pilates. Working together, the assessments and adjustments made by Jen Gulley (physiotherapist) will be directly incorporated into the movements the Pilates instructor will have you do. This process is very effective at stabilizing the adjustments and helping to re-align muscle firing patterns.
Duration - 55 minutes
Maximum - 1 person
Previous Pilates experience is helpful to increase productivity of the session
